Russian River Fest

Join Bay Area chefs, cookbook authors and food writers, including The Chronicle's Roving Feast columnist Marlena Spieler, at the second annual Russian River Food and Wine Fest Sunday, Sept. 25, at Fife's Guest Ranch in Guerneville.

The festival will feature local wines and gourmet speciality foods from SavorCalifornia.com, including bread from Bovine Bakery and olive oil from Skipstone Ranch.

Traci des Jardins, Hubert Keller and other chefs will conduct cooking demonstrations. Chronicle Wine Editor Linda Murphy will moderate a panel discussion.

Proceeds from the event benefit education and arts in western Sonoma County.
