Basil Burger with Sweet Heat

1 ¼ poundsGround turkey
3 TablespoonsFresh basil, chopped
2 TablespoonsSauce Goddess BBQ Sweet Heat Spice Rub
1Serrano pepper, minced

 

In a bowl, combine all ingredients.

With wet hands, form the meat mixture into 4 burgers.

Place burgers on wax or parchment paper and place in freezer for 15 minutes prior to cooking.

AFTER you make the Bacon-Onion Chutney (see Sauce Goddess recipes), cook the burgers and top with the chutney.
