Website Showcases Specialty Foods Throughout the State

Healdsburg, CA, May 21, 2004. . .Food lovers everywhere now have a new one-stop, online resource for information about what's good, who's making it and where to find it. focuses on the amazingly diverse specialty food and beverage producers in the Golden State.

From its beginning in Sonoma County, the website has expanded to include Napa Valley, Mendocino, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, the East Bay and Los Angeles. The site will always be changing and growing to include new product categories and new regions - any place in California where artisans are making wonderful foods and beverages.

Visitors to can go right to a product category or geographical area. A comprehensive search function allows visitors to quickly find a particular producer or product.

Each specialty producer has a page with their story and full contact data. Sidebars include recipes, serving suggestions, events and seasonal specialties. The sidebars are updated periodically, providing new information and yet another reason for frequent visits to the site.

Quotations from the famous and not-so-famous are scattered throughout, adding a touch of humor to the already very pleasurable subject of food. Gorgeous photos of the products and regions will whet the visitor's appetite even more.
