Planning a Food-Lovers Trip in California Just Got Easier

Healdsburg, CA, September 23, 2004Do you love food and want to taste the best from California on your next trip? Do you like to visit small food shops and find new goodies? Do you want to take home delicious memories from your vacation? is a way to discover cheeses, sauces, smoked meats, olive oils, jams, desserts and much more made by the gourmet specialty food producers of California. Its the one-stop, online resource for information about the amazingly diverse specialty food and beverage producers in the Golden State -- whats good, whos making it and where to find it.

These products make the ultimate souvenir," founder Jane St. Claire says. "And if you need to take a gift home for the person who has everything, they are made-to-order."

On you can go directly to a geographical area or product category. In addition, a comprehensive search function allows you to quickly find a particular producer or product or a category of products, such as organic foods.

From its beginning in Sonoma County, continues to expand to include new regions any place in California where artisans are making wonderful foods and beverages. Every month new producers and new product categories are also added as more of the hidden talents of California artisans are discovered.

Each specialty producer has an individual page with their story, full contact data, photos, logo and link to their own website. Sidebars include recipes, serving suggestions, and other tidbits.

Deborah Morris of Patisserie Angelica in Sonoma County, California states, We have a lovely deck shaded by redwoods where we serve our pastries and cakes with Taylor Maid organic coffee. Partnering with lets visitors from outside of our area know about us. It not only showcases our desserts, but also tells the story behind our company.

Quotations from the famous and not-so-famous are scattered throughout the website, adding a touch of humor to the already very pleasurable subject of food. Stunning visual images of mouth-watering delicacies complete the experience of visiting
